Most people assume they have no control over whatever random stories, jingles, worries or irrational beliefs might happen to occupy their thinking. That voice in the head is powerful indeed; it becomes the little hypnotist who is with us always. The good news is we can learn to weed out the clutter and nonsense, and bring our thinking in line with the way we choose to live. This skill is not a game of perfect. It is an essential part of being true to yourself.
